"Some of them are sad, some funny. Some of them are stories of madness, of violence. Some are ordinary. Yet they all have about them a sense of mystery. The mystery of life. Sometimes, the mystery of death"

Date : 31 August 2018

Collage artwork by Charlie Wayne in Food and magazine.

I am very happy to see my work “Junk Food Last Supper” published in Germany by “Food &, unusual encounters with food”.

About

Food& is a Berlin based biannual publication that explores unusual encounters with food.

Food & is an experiment; a reflection on the relation and use of one of our most basic needs; an excuse to meet new people and spread their work; a strange and fun assignment. This magazine brings together the works of artists and fascinating authors. It has been hailed in France by the well known magazine Etapes.

You can buy this issue here.

A big thank you to the editors of the magazine to offer me a double page with my last supper.

Manson in Venice – Palazo Ca’ Zanardi exhibition

The Charles Manson ‘s victims memorial is shown at the exhibition LIQUID ROOMS – THE LABYRINTH that will be held in Venice, at Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi, from March 01, 2018 to March 30, 2018.

THE LABYRINTH is an invitation for artists to analyze their inner path and their artistic career, searching their identity as artists and as human beings.

The series offers to remember those who died at the hands of these human beings not quite like the others. Each portrait presented consists of 10,000 reproductions of the faces of their victims, often relegated to the media plan. These «Killers» wear the blindfold of the sentenced to death. Red as blood and translucent, it seems to impose to the perpetrators to face their actions.

David Lynch & Twin Peaks Gallery – London

Category : Exhibition
Date : 1 October 2017

As a fan of Mr. David Lynch, I am proud to expose at the “David Lynch and twin peaks gallery” (at the Hornsey Town Hall art center) in October in London, in the presence of actors and producers of the series. Thank you!

My portrait of David Lynch is composed of 10 000 photographs of the twin peaks cast. The orange bar (colour of the sacred fire in Hinduism, but also symbol of creativity), symbolizes the fact that the geniuses that inspire us see the world through a filter different from ours, and make it better for us.
